Biography

Mary Louise "Mel" Robinson, age 76, of Griffin, GA died Friday, July 13, 2012. She was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Stanton and Mary Louise Pill Green. Mrs. Robinson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a friend to all who knew her. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega from the University of Alabama and a member of the Stone Mountain Women’s Club.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Cas Robinson; children, David and Melody Robinson, Mark and Tammy Robinson, Blake and Kelli Robinson, and Kate and Greg Schermerhorn; and grandchildren, Gregory, Raina, Cassidy, Marissa, Amanda and Phillip.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 16, 2012 at McDonough Presbyterian Church with Rev. Olin McBride officiating and a reception following at the church. Interment will follow at 3:00pm at the Stone Mountain City Cemetery with a reception immediately following at the Stone Mountain Women’s Club. The family will also receive friends Sunday, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.
