Charlotte Harrell Gentrup
January 5, 1934 - July 4, 2012
Charlotte Harrell Gentrup, age 78, of McDonough, GA died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Jack and Inez Flury Harrell. She was very active in the 82nd Airborne Association. Mrs. Gentrup was a long-time member of St. John's Catholic Church in Hapeville, and currently attended St. James The Apostle Catholic Church in McDonough.
She is survived by her husband, Hilary F. Gentrup; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Rhonda Gentrup of Jonesboro, GA; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Ben Watkins of McDonough, GA, and Diana Gentrup; grandchildren, Jake & Josh Gentrup, Erick Watkins, and Ashley Keirns and her husband, Brian; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bobby and Vivian Harrell, and David Harrell.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. James The Apostle Catholic Church. The family will have a private interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 6th, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
