Life Legacy

Richard J. Zubka, age 75, of McDonough, Georgia, died Friday, December 31, 2010. Mr. Zubka was well known throughout the community as a volunteer at both Stockbridge Elementary and Flippen Elementary schools where he read and mentored children. He was also a volunteer in the Henry Medical Auxiliary. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather of eight and good neighbor. His smile and cheerful disposition will be missed by all.

Richard is survived by Judy, his wife of 51 years, sons, Gerard, Kenneth and Douglas, and their families in Florida, Nevada and Illinois.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 3rd, at Flippen United Methodist Church at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Richards's name to the Flippen United Methodist building fund.
