Life Legacy

James Preston Roberts, age 88, of McDonough, GA died Friday, June 24, 2011. He was born in Bradenton, FL to the late Leon F. and Maude Broome Roberts, Sr. James was also preceded in death by his son, Dr. Patrick J. Roberts.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his spouse, Patricia Anne (Parks) Roberts, McDonough, GA; sons, John P. Roberts, Manchester, NH; Richard Roberts, Hendersonville, NC; step-sons, Ernest M. Rudick, Jr., Trussville, AL; Robert J. Rudick, Montgomery, AL; step-daughters, Kathleen R. Coley, Bowdon, GA; Ann M. Sutphin, McDonough, GA; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and many other loved family members.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Roy Mack and Wayne Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm, Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, AL. The family will receive friends Monday, June 27, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
